How FFNRG Pellets Are Made
Step 1:
Waste Stream Selection
Regionally abundant, previously unrecyclable waste streams are carefully selected and sourced—diverting materials that would otherwise be sent to landfills.
Step 2:
Material Processing & Refinement
The waste materials are processed, refined, and blended to precise specifications to ensure consistency, safety, and performance.
Step 3:
Fuel Formulation
The refined materials are combined using FFNRG’s proprietary waste-to-energy formulation to create a uniform, high-BTU fuel blend.
Step 4:
Pellet Densification
The fuel blend is densified into durable, high-quality pellets engineered for reliable, consistent energy output.
Step 5:
Carbon Capture & Sequestration
During production, a certified carbon capture and sequestration process is applied, ensuring the pellets are manufactured as a zero-carbon energy solution.
Step 6:
Finished Renewable Fuel
The result is a water-resistant, transportable pellet that burns cleanly and efficiently—delivering consistent heat and power for combined heat and power (CHP) and cogeneration systems.
